Join the team from Negative Thinking CIC to celebrate the faces of Bristol. Taken at The Launderette over a few hours during the Herbert Shergold exhibition Now Keep Quite Still, the negatives have been lovingly developed and hand printed in the darkroom by Tim Pearse, owner of Negative Thinking.
Negative Thinking exists to offer financially accessible world class knowledge sharing of darkroom skills and everything analogue. We want to create community around an often solitary pursuit adn a space for people to experiment and explore their creative practice.
The portraits taken show a portion of the attendees to the exhibition on 2nd November 2024. We invite all models to collect their portraits off the wall on Sunday 24th November when the exhibition closes. Those that cannot can collect another time. We hope these portraits can become artefacts for people to share and keep.
